Who We Are

Having a passion for nature, literature, and philosophy, late Mr. A K Haldar had set up Khelaghar Baganbari 20 years ago as a floral retreat in the midst of the city. We started off as a popular picnic spot. However, over the years, we have grown to become one of the prettiest outdoor wedding venues in Kolkata.

This banquet hall in Mukundapur serves as a great location for hosting any kind of event. Today, we are one of the best birthday party places in the area, one of the best wedding venues in Kolkata with a lawn, and one of the most spacious corporate party venues.

AC Hall

The main hall is fully air-conditioned and grandly lit with beautiful light fixtures and chandeliers. With the help of our decorators, you can spruce up the space according to your event. You can set up a stage for a musical evening, a mandap for a wedding, a selfie corner, or a balloon decor if you use it for a birthday party.

Rooms

We have 2 rooms with AC and an attached washroom. One of them is a fully furnished bedroom with proper setup for bridal makeup, space for storage and an attached bathroom with shower/geyser. You can flexibly use the other room for dressing up, resting, storage, or conducting a part of the event.

Green Lawn

Our lush green lawn is adorned with exotic flowers and beautifully landscaped, making it ideal for picnics, buffet setups, or hosting outdoor parties. You can flexibly decorate it the way you want. Additionally, an 800-square-feet area is full of flowers that serves as a beautiful backdrop for making a mandap as well as taking selfies. It is the prime beauty spot of Khelaghar Baganbari.

Kitchen

Your caterers will have a comfortable, large, and well-ventilated space to prepare fresh delicacies for your guests. We adhere to strict hygiene standards in our space for the health and safety of our guests. For that very reason, the kitchen is always clean and well-maintained.
